I just want you to know, pretty much everybody who starts with me in the voice work is nervous, unless they’ve been in the industry a long time, and even then, still sometimes. ![]()

Explanation: Let's use voice as a medium, though this is true with all mediums of life-![]()

If your voice is tight/held/blocked, and you're trying to apply correct technique, style and emotion, it's just gonna make it harder, hurt more, and feel so fabricated that it's fatiguing. ![]()

But if you've relaxed enough in mind and body, to loosen your voice, so that you barely even recognize it from your former "trying" and "efforting," which caused the tightness + fatigue in the first place, it'll likely sound *messy* to you. ![]()

Here's the thing:![]()

It sounds a LOT better to me *messy* -![]()
because it's free, and we all can relax. ![]()
![]()
AND FROM THAT PLACE - of relaxed freedom, THEN you can apply correct technique, style, and emotion, and wow those around you AND yourself. ![]()

Then singing, speaking, or doing whatever you are doing, can literally feel so good, it's ORGASMIC. ✨✨![]()
